Business & Academic Partnerships for Safer Chemicals - Green Chemistry & Commerce Council (GC3)
Monica Becker is leading the Business & Academic Partnerships for Safer Chemicals for the GC3. This project is developing a new model for businesses to partner with academic institutions to find green chemistry solutions. The focus is the evaluation of plasticizers (both phthalates and non-phthalates) used in PVC and non-PVC applications, for wire and cable for electronics. The evaluation includes a chemical hazard assessment using the GreenScreen™ as well as technical performance testing. Manufacturers of plasticizers and electronics firms are engaged in selecting plasticizers for evaluation and are reviewing results. The final results will be released to the public.

Chemical Data Standardization Project - Green Chemistry & Commerce Council (GC3)
